David Haye Lends His Name to Grosvenor Casinos’ New Poker Tournament Series

Retired heavyweight boxing champion, David Haye, is partnering with Grosvenor Casinos to lend his moniker to a new poker tournament series. Dubbed “The Hayemaker Knockout Series,” the events boast a collective prize pool of £40,000 distributed over seven tournaments, concluding with a final game in December featuring a £20,000 guarantee.

The inaugural tournament commenced on September 29th, with Haye participating in the action. He even placed a £100 bounty on himself for whichever competitor eliminated him! In total, the series will award £40,000 in winnings.

Each tournament’s victor will also secure a spot at the final table in December, where they’ll have the opportunity to play poker alongside Haye. The culminating event will be hosted at the Poker Room situated above the renowned Grosvenor Victoria Casino in London.

Haye is urging everyone to participate in the tournaments, stating, “If you’re keen on challenging me, visit the Grosvenor Poker website for registration information. If poker is new to you, The Hayemaker Knockout Series is free to enter without a buy-in. Secure a portion of the £40,000 cash prize and a chance to go head-to-head with me at the Vic in London.”

In addition to holding the massive Goliath competition, Grosvenor Casinos frequently organizes a range of alternative poker events. Among these are their trademark 25/25 Series, Deepstacks, and prestigious High Rollers. They also add excitement with periodic specials such as the Easter Beast, Summer Sizzler, and Christmas Cracker.
