Azerion on Acquisition Spree Expanding European Footprint and Digital Advertising Prowess

The digital entertainment and media company, Azerion, has been on an acquisition spree, acquiring businesses left and right. They recently spent approximately €12 million (or $11.7 million) on several purchases.

Among their significant acquisitions was Vlyby, a German firm creating a stir in the realm of automated video advertising. They also made a number of other strategic buys, adding components that will enable them to better support digital content creators in Italy and France, particularly when it comes to monetizing their work. These actions are not merely about appearances – Azerion claims these new additions generated roughly €1.4 million in 2021 alone.

While they paid a hefty sum for these transactions, approximately half of the expense was covered by the issuance of Azerion stock. It’s evident that they’re thinking long-term and anticipate these acquisitions to yield substantial returns.

Atilla Aytekin, co-CEO of Azerion, appears quite enthusiastic about it all. He’s been discussing how these actions are transforming Azerion into a more robust platform and how they’re improving their ability to provide clients and collaborators with what they require. He even suggested that there may be additional acquisitions in the future!

This follows Azerion’s collaboration with MediaMath in January 2022. Their objective? Nothing less than transforming the gaming sector by replicating what behemoths like Walmart and Amazon have accomplished in retail media. Ambitious? Certainly. However, with their recent activities, Azerion is undoubtedly a company to keep an eye on.

This agreement enables companies and their advertising partners to leverage Azerion’s internal network in conjunction with MediaMath’s technology to connect with their desired audience. Established in 2014, Azerion is a Netherlands-based firm experiencing considerable success – its shares are even listed on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange!
