Ballys Corporation is making waves! They’ve implemented significant alterations to their executive team, demonstrating their commitment to efficient operations and a positive influence.
Don Westcott is now at the helm of all things compliance. His extensive 25+ year background in fintech and gaming makes him ideally suited for the position. He joins Bally’s from Nuvei, a payments leader, where he oversaw global compliance. Prior to that, he honed his skills developing robust compliance frameworks for industry giants like Fiserv and First Data, with a specific focus on the gaming sector. Interestingly, Westcott’s career began in casinos. He gained valuable experience at Caesars, Osage Casinos, and Isle of Capri Casinos, showcasing a remarkable full-circle journey. He even got his start at Jumers Casino Hotel, now under the Bally’s umbrella.
And let’s not overlook Tammi Barlow! She’s assuming the critical position of VP of Global Responsibility and Social Impact. With over ten years in the gaming industry, she’s adept at crafting initiatives that champion responsible gaming and community engagement. Before joining Bally’s, Barlow spearheaded Rush Street Interactive’s dedication to social responsibility, particularly in promoting responsible gaming practices.
Mrs. Barlow, a strong advocate for diversity, fairness, and inclusivity in the video game sector, has held the position of co-chair and continues to participate in the Global Gaming Women’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee. Her dedication to ethical gaming practices is apparent through her prominent role on the National Council on Problem Gambling’s Responsible Gaming Committee. She is also a recognizable figure on other influential committees, such as the Massachusetts Gaming and Health Advisory Committee and the African American Gaming Council.
“Don and Tammi’s knowledge in regulatory compliance, responsible gaming practices, and societal impact will be essential as Bally’s expands,” remarked Kim M. Barker, Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer of Bally’s Corporation, as she welcomed them to the organization. “Their guidance will be crucial in managing the intricacies of our growing business operations.”
