Betfred Inks Two-Year Sponsorship Deal with Bolton Wanderers

Newly promoted to the second tier of English football, Bolton Wanderers have inked a two-year sponsorship agreement with betting firm Betfred. The deal will feature Betfred’s emblem prominently displayed on the team’s kits and extensive advertising throughout their home venue, the 28,500-seat University of Bolton Stadium.

This collaboration extends past a standard sponsorship, with Bolton also becoming the inaugural official financial trading associate for Tradefred, Betfred’s recently debuted foreign exchange trading platform.

Bolton’s chairman, Ken Anderson, conveyed his excitement, stating, “We are delighted to have Betfred on board as our main shirt sponsor. They join an expanding and noteworthy group of partners.” He highlighted the company’s deep local connections, adding, “As a premier betting brand in the UK, they have always remembered their origins in the North West of England.”

Sharing the sentiment, Betfred’s founder and CEO, Fred Done, commented, “Betfred has positive recollections of collaborating with Bolton Wanderers during our prior period as the club’s official betting associate, and it’s fantastic to return to the University of Bolton Stadium, now as principal sponsors.” He further commended the club’s proactive stance, concluding, “Bolton has demonstrated a genuine eagerness to work alongside us, and I’ve been quite impressed with how smoothly the deal has been finalized.”
