AdheringOne Corporation, a firm focused on regulatory and technological adherence for the online gaming sector, has become a member of the Dutch Online Gaming Association (NOGA). This action follows AdheringOne’s establishment of a Netherlands branch in January 2022 and indicates their dedication to assisting associates within the area.
NOGA holds a vital position in the Dutch internet gaming landscape, promoting a safe and trustworthy market. Its membership includes prominent entities such as Flutter, Entain, Kindred Group, and bet365, alongside licensed providers and vendors.
This affiliation is particularly noteworthy considering that Diligence in Gaming, a regulatory and operational adherence company under the AdheringOne Corporation umbrella, formed a comprehensive alliance with Smart Gamings’ brand, betnation.nl, in the previous year.
Mike de Graaff, Director of Regulatory Services & Assurance at Diligence in Gaming, stressed the significance of joining NOGA, stating that it underscores their commitment to aiding Dutch associates. He believes that as the Netherlands’ regulatory environment progresses, being part of NOGA will enhance their capacity to serve providers and vendors.
Peter-Paul de Goeij, Chief Executive of NOGA, warmly greeted AdheringOne Corporation, emphasizing their proficiency in regulatory and technological adherence as a valuable contribution to the association.
At the beginning of this year, the person in charge of the Netherlands’ gambling regulator, René Jansen, gave a caution to gambling companies. He reiterated that merely adhering to the minimum requirements of player safety regulations was insufficient. He stressed that a perfunctory method of compliance would not be tolerated. This message has been consistent since the regulations were put into effect in October 2021.
