Catena Media’s chief executive, Robert Andersson, has resigned, concluding his two-and-a-half-year stint leading the affiliate marketing powerhouse. Andersson will receive half a year’s pay and a separation agreement.
Assuming the position temporarily is Henrik Persson Ekdahl, a current board representative with a solid history in the sector, having directed firms such as Betsafe and the Betsson Group. Ekdahl will be responsible for maintaining Catena Media’s expansion course, particularly its emphasis on mergers and acquisitions.
The company’s chair, Kathryn Moore Baker, commended Andersson for his guidance during a time of substantial growth, including taking the company public and listing it on the Nasdaq Stockholm market. She stressed that Catena Media is now embarking on a new chapter, and Ekdahl’s expertise makes him the perfect candidate to guide them ahead as they seek a permanent CEO. Their strategic objective remains focused on rapid expansion.
