The Formula 1 presence of Alfa Romeo will transform with a revamped image as the organization transitions to Stake F1 Team.
The commencement of the year ushers in a fresh chapter for the group previously recognized as Alfa Romeo, marked by a complete rebranding to Stake F1 Team. This captivating shift coincides with the unveiling of their eagerly awaited C44 vehicle in the early part of next month.
Stake, a leading entity in the realm of online entertainment, has reinforced its dedication to F1 by securing a title sponsorship arrangement with the Sauber-operated team. This collaboration, expanding upon their existing association, will span the 2024 and 2025 seasons. The team has fully adopted the new identity, transitioning its social media presence to @stakef1team.
Alessandro Alunni Bravi, Team Representative of Stake F1 Team, conveyed his enthusiasm regarding the partnership: “Stake’s successful foray into F1 in the preceding year has demonstrated their impactful engagement platform, which strongly connects with a global viewership. Evolving into Stake F1 Team represents a natural and exhilarating progression for both entities, building upon our fruitful association.”
Bravi highlighted the mutually advantageous facets of the partnership, remarking, “This partnership will not only elevate the team to new heights of commercial prospects but will also empower Stake to further implement their successful strategies within F1. We have already experienced some exceptional collaborations across various races in the past year, and we are enthusiastic about the activation possibilities that accompany Stake as title partner.”
Enthusiasts won’t have to exercise patience for long to witness the new livery on the track. The team, still functioning under the Sauber Group umbrella, will introduce the C44 car on the 5th of February, shortly preceding the official pre-season testing phase.
Stake co-founder, Edward Craven, shared his enthusiasm for the renaming of their Formula One racing team, now dubbed Stake F1 Team. He stressed their mutual zeal for velocity, advancement, and exceeding limits, underscoring their dedication to propelling the team to greater achievements commencing in 2024. Craven assured an exhilarating journey both at the circuit and beyond, with a lineup of exciting occasions planned for the approaching years.
Intriguingly, this isn’t Stake’s sole venture within the athletic realm. Rumors circulating in Australia suggest that Craven discreetly obtained a share (pun unintended!) in PointsBet last December. It seems they’re making some significant strategic maneuvers!
