Betway has bolstered its global tennis footprint by partnering with the Rio Open. This agreement establishes the company as an official tournament sponsor for the upcoming two years.
A prominent player in online sports betting, Betway will receive various marketing benefits. Their branding will be highly visible throughout the tournament venue, including courtside advertisements.
Additionally, the company intends to create exclusive content tailored for tennis enthusiasts, disseminated through the tournament’s social media platforms and digital avenues.
“We are delighted to welcome a respected brand like Betway to the Rio Open partner family,” remarked Marcia Casz, Rio Open Director. “Securing one of the industry leaders as a partner for Latin America’s most prestigious tennis event is a significant achievement, and we anticipate a long-standing relationship.”
Inaugurated in 2014, the Rio Open has attracted renowned tennis stars to the Jockey Club Brasileiro’s clay courts, including Rafael Nadal, David Ferrer, and Cristian Garin. It holds the distinction of being South America’s sole ATP 500 tournament and Brazil’s only ATP Tour event.
This recent sponsorship amplifies Betway’s expanding tennis portfolio, which includes a newly established agreement as the official betting partner of the Stockholm Open.
Betways Chief Executive Officer, Anthony Werkman, shared his enthusiasm for their collaboration with the Rio Open, remarking, “Becoming a primary sponsor of the Rio Open, Brazil’s most prominent tennis competition, fills us with excitement. This alliance enhances our already remarkable collection of tennis associations.”
He added, “This event perpetually draws the globe’s leading athletes, and aligning ourselves with it marks another moment of pride for Betway.”
