A well-known online wagering firm, Betano, has joined forces with Benfica, a prominent Portuguese soccer team. This three-year agreement designates Betano as the inaugural sleeve sponsor for Benfica, resulting in their logo being prominently displayed on the players’ uniforms.
Betano will also assume the role of the team’s official betting sponsor and will collaborate with Benfica on a range of promotional endeavors, including leveraging the club’s social media channels.
George Daskalakis, the chief executive officer of Kaizen Gaming, the parent company of Betano, expressed enthusiasm regarding the partnership, emphasizing their dedication to the Portuguese market and their aspiration to support sports and the community.
Domingos Soares de Oliveira, Benfica’s CEO, also underscored the importance of this collaboration, highlighting the innovative nature of Betano and its robust presence in sports and entertainment. He is confident that this partnership will introduce a new dimension to the club.
Betano has taken on the role of the primary sponsor for Sporting CP, a Portuguese soccer team, commencing in June. The Betano emblem will be prominently displayed on the front of the team’s uniforms for the upcoming two seasons. Betano has also recently secured an agreement to be the main sponsor of Atlético Mineiro, a Brazilian soccer club. This marks their inaugural sponsorship outside of Europe.
